i have mine done and seriously biting your tongue is SO much worse. literally he was like there was go it's all done. i had no idea he'd even pierced it.

HONESTLY it hurts worse to bite your tongue than to get it pierced. It was only sore for a day & I still have trouble pronouncing certain words that have T-H's, S-H's & others in clearly in general,but, that will all change back to normal as it heals & ALWAYS RINSE after eating, smoking, etc...Listerine is the best! P.S. If youre gonna eat noodles of any-kind, CUT IT UP AS SMALL AS POSSIBLE or it can wrap around the piercing and make you choke...just alittle piece of advice ;)

alright for most of you out there wondering i got my eye brow toungue lip and ears pierced and when i got my toungue all i felt was the needle touch my toungue i aint even feel it go in i actually felt the eyebrow more than the toungue so dont worry it dont hurt....but thats if u can hold pain lol but im just saying i aint feel it so if you get it u shouldnt either

The first couple of days are the worst, its hard to eat without touching the tongue ring. It felt like a pinching/stinging sensation around the tongue ring, popsicles helps to numb the soreness. Usually it takes 10 to 14 days to heal, but mine healed within a week, its different for everyone. Stay away from spicy food, meat, dairy stuff (that includes eggs, milk, cheese, ice-cream). Use antibacterial mouthwash after everytime you eat. Don't worry, its all bearable! :)
