Colin! Myyyyyy nigga, thank you so much for your ever-present input. I was really inspired by all of the videos you've posted and just wanted to throw something out there. Tried to make it all fit, i've got to admit though, i don't really have a knack for recording like you do. Did my bestest, and yeah i know what you mean about the distortion and stuff. I found myself a little insecure in my words at times.
I can really feel the emotion in this piece. I really feel the pacing and the pauses too. There's a great sense of emotion in those paused hooks that grabs ones feelings. And the instrumental fits well. I just really like the written medium and this is felt so much more with the author's voice matched with the words. The lofi style adds character and a rustic feel. One thing, just a small note if I may, is part of it had a little too much distorted/squeal but only for a short period of time.
