I know a way to get 999 without Axl. I use Zero and just pwn 3 missiles with Zero with his aerial spin attack and That easily gets me 999. Also do-able with X.

You think that is easy? If Axl breaks the Commander's shield and destroys it, you have to start over it again. What I found out: Axl's Ray Gun against the Ride Armors. Stick to the wall, and destroy everything.

That's not the easiest or best way. The best way would be to NOT play like a retard and use Axl to get 999 easily.
