Yes it is like you write: with this cell you can produce your hydrogen (the oxygen is just a by-product) and then use the hydrogen to produce power. If you have enough sun you can use solar-cells for the hydrogen production and then you are very "green" ;)

@m0nkeykinG honestly I can't remember the exact time. but it was not very long - just a minute or maybe two.

It is really just an experimenting KIT to show the conept. This Cell deliveres hardly current and the voltage is quite low as well.

yeah nice ,,know these sets ,,they sell an rc car in our shop with fuelcell ,so it runs on destilled water and has these 2 tanks in the back

so it looks more as a fuelcell expiriment as a rc car,,i guess this is the future powersupply ,,imagine a tank on the heli instead of lipo : )
