Normaly in europe we have many tornadoes in spring/summer season. example the list of german tornado's see this link: tornadoliste.de

Strong F4/F5 also occur in Europe, to see the last devastating documented (F4) tornado in northen-france search for "Hautmont tornado" !

There are way more tornadoes in Europe than they fought, now we also have more severe weather forecast organisations like ESTOFEX and SKYWARN and of course many chasers (spotters).
