its just like having the flu shot every season, the vacine is actually the virus its self, just dead/weakend flu virus easilly to fight off so when you do get the flu again the effects and symtoms are less servere.
some scientist now say theres no proof of that working but really i dont give.... because it does make sence what your doing when your taking local honey is your putting small amounts of the alergin into your immune system so it can fight it off and defend against it once. And once its fought off the body remembers what it has killed and defended against it gets stronger and when you have the same alergins in the air the body can fight it more easily lessen the effect of the watery eyes and nose
@okpapereat I know...I feel the same way. It just makes sense to use local honey so that is what I've been doing now for a while. I think it's been helping too.
My friend DO the receipe I gave you couple of weeks ago . I talk about using your local honey to prepare the fray zago receipe. check on the web for details about preparation and timings . IT WORKS ! Miguel.
@mi55eros Works for allergies too? Wow...okay...I will pass that along to her. I'm so thankful that I'm not suffering with allergies now. Everyone I know is having a miserable time!
I have heard about this and there is a farmers stand down the road that advertises they have "local" honey. Have no idea if it works but guess it can't hurt!! :))
We have so much yellow pollen from the pine trees that the cars and porches are yellow. Maybe I should lick the pollen? *kidding* I'm interested in the honey idea if it does indeed work for me. Pine tree pollen honey.
@RiverBirch1967 hehehe...I just made the joke that our house has tons of surfaces that have pollen on them from the windows being open and that we should just lick our table!..hehehe
It seems to make sense to eat local honey, but i have a feeling that it will work if you believe it will work..... hhmmm, i don't know..... maybe moving house, i know it's not easy, but removing your wife from the Oak trees has got to be an answer....but i don't know if you have Oaks all over the place where you live... i know we do here
@twish1999 Yes, maybe it is all the placebo effect, right? We'd have to move out of state unfortunately...FL is filled with oaks. Which we love to see and sit under but for her, not get the pollen from. Yup, back to the honey.
@ItalianStallionette Wow, interesting that a doctor did tell you this. Well, I'll pass that along to her. Thank you...you are sweet. I'm wearing my "Bride" tanktop that a friend of ours made for both of us...hehhe

I've heard about this. A doctor told me if I had a tablespoon of local honey ... it can help build a resistence to the pollen. Hmmmmmm
You look great!
