I agree that sugar is bad for kids and they shouldnt be getting junk food...but you people DO realize that the whole "sugar makes kids hyper" thing is just a myth, right? Science has proven otherwise so many times.

It is a source of energy, but your body only uses the amount it needs. It's not gonna go overboard and use up even more.

Sugar doesn't make them hyper. It DEHYDRATES!
Dehydration also decreases blood circulation, and the kids will not be able to think straight. They'll become very irritable and cranky.

Really, nope all still very thin, play 3 or more sports per season, ummm teeth perfect no cavities, they are almost 7 and just turned 9, still not fat and no dental work need straight white teeth, slim and trim. Remember it is TV I was never a stay at home MOM I worke full-time always until the twins were 5 and now work part-time, TV people TV.

Uh yeah, I'd say working full time while a partner stayed at home is plenty of an excuse to be more than confused when your husband takes on the full time role suddenly.

I agree. All the sugar is doing to the kids is making them hipper. TV is okay at a minimum but not when the kids are going to bed. They need something like soft music or a book to calm down before they go to bed. All tv will do before bed is put it into over drive-- one of the main reasons why bedtime is such a nightmare

She's complaining that now he's gonna have no resposibilities cuz he's going back to work and now she's staying home...So basically he's gonna be doing what she's been doing the whole time!! Why is she complaining!! She's so irritating!! And I think most mothers out there would DIE to have a man who helped out and did so much work in the home and with the kids, like this man does! Ugh!

babysitter experience? if so your lucky you didnt get driven insane enough to get locked up in an institution yet, last time I got left to babysit, I ended up tied to a fence post and little sisters flailing me with baseball bats and a 9 iron, trust me it hurts.

Any idiot who gives a child cake just before dinner shouldn't be surprised when they refuse to eat their meal. Kids know better, too, these kids know that their mother just isn't putting the energy or caring into doing things the right way. Why doesn't she care about their nutrition? Why is she so apathetic?
