if you teach a captive dolphin or killer whale a complicated trick, then give it some time with another whale or dolphin... the other will perform the trick. These animals communicate and have an intelligence unlike any other we share the planet with. They are are cute/ beautiful etc but do we have the right to kill and eat another living being who demonstrates this level of intelligence and the use of language? (please read up on it...resource? For us to tell another group that they can not consume a animal only because we view the animal differently is wrong. We in the U.S. consume cows by the thousands and Hindu people do not attack us, yet many Americans protest Asians right to consume dogs. I think that anyone should be able to use any resource they see fit to use.

He is the one who said it was killed in the Japanese whale hunt. it's not propaganda - even if this whale died of joy the Japanese are still the leading whaling nation on earth and I cannot see why they persist in the terrible practice. Due only to the fact that some animals are loved and looked upon as kind, many people protest a spices harvest. Here in the U.S. many groups Protest other country consumption of dogs. I feel that all humans should be able to use any they see fit to consume. Whales being a renewable resource is a very good choice. I only feel that we should not tell other people not to eat something based upon the way it looks to us.
