  • The angle is reflect the beam, the mirror deflects the beam on a constantly varying angle that returns to where is started after every rotation. the more angle you give the mirror, the further the beam is deflected and as the mirror rotates, the further away from center it travels over distance. This also makes for a large cone so the the vortex is larger but not as bright. smaller angle, smaller cone brighter vortex because the light is more focused. also, you get more distance with less angle

  • hi i have a question with the angle, why put it on an angle? is it just to make the vortex bigger? i tried 3 different angles and made observations. but to make a vortex to demonstrate in a small room i had to just use a flat mirror. thankyou. what kind of angle did you use for the outside for the trick and treaters?
