@dustyarabian Chichi and Goku are a weird couple, Vegeta can't stand Bulma. He sort of respects her at the end of DBZ and I think Bulma loves Vegeta- but I doubt the feeling is mutual. The same goes for Chichi. As far as the rivalry goes... Biggest. Effing. Coverup in Saiyan history. Ever since Goku turned SSJ, Vegeta is in love. Do you honestly believe he'd chased him all over the galaxy just to 'learn his secret'? There's not much pride in chasing after someone, let me tell you that! LOL

@dustyarabian The way Goku catches Vegeta in the fight with Meta Cooler is off. Their conversation in Hell before the fusion dance is off (movie 12). Even their fight in the Babidi Saga is weird. Inside Buu: Vegeta quarrels with Goku as if he's his spouse, he cowards behind him when the worms show up, they fight cheek to cheek, etc. Goku grabs any chance he can get to get away from home and Vegeta likes to spend nearly all of his time 'training'. They don't care much for their wives at all.

@dustyarabian There are also a lot of clues in DBZ that show a different reality. A lot of the physical contact between Goku and Vegeta is questionable. Even their conversations imply there is more between them. This is a Japanese cartoon. Of course Goku and Vegeta are married to a woman. Of course Vegeta says he hates Goku. But is that the truth? Both have to live up to other expectations. Vegeta has to defend his honor from the man he adores. Most likely, that's the reason he's so frustrated!
