  • yea hes stoping whaling but he cant stop horse slaughter =/

  • These wonderful creatures may simply not threatened with extinction. The do to me totally suffering, really! (A loose translation of the German comment below)

  • Diese wunderbaren Geschöpfe dürfen einfach nicht aussterben. Die tun mir total leid, echt!

  • I'd trust Paul Watson instead of Obama anyday!

  • thankyou for sharing this and letting the world know the truth~peace with love

  • An update to this was requested: The IWC meeting brought more bad news for the whales, especially the humpbacks in the North Atlantic. Greenland has been given permission to add nine humpback whales to the list of whales that can be legally killed for the next several years.

  • Is there an update here? or is this just another reason that I am ashamed of what is going on...with all the billions of fish that people could profit from, they choose to torture and kill the very few remaining whales.......

  • @danthewhaleman this is so sad

  • billions of fish in the ocean and yet some want to destroy the few remaining mammals..what kind of man pulls the trigger?.............What kind?

  • Infanticide, enslaving the working class, and now against the whales. Gee what a shocker. Someone please hand this man a pitch fork and a pair of horns.

  • Australia is taking Japan whaling to International court ... I think it would help the case big time with US support. Anti-whaling countries could work together for a stronger voice .. please save the whales.

  • If commercial ever resumes, whales will never be protected again under international law. We all have a responsibility not to allow whaling again.

  • @CetaceaChile You are right.

If commercial whaling starts now, it will never end.

Obama must know this and if he doesn't the NGO's better ensure that he does.

  • Zero compromise on whaling. Thank you for this video

  • President Obama may not know his IWC officials openly support commercial whaling, because he has so many issues to deal with his staff may have isolated him. The public must find a way to reach him with the truth. Our Eletter responses to this video will change US policy, because the President does oppose commercial whaling.

  • Thanks so much for this. This is how we should be observing these wonders of the sea. Not through graphic footage of harpooning and slipways. Whaling is cruel and barbaric and must be stopped.

  • This is a very important message. The future of whales is at stake, and we need to get our appeal to the President. Please join in the letter-writing so we can still see whales like these beautiful creatures, protected in their ocean habitat as part of the common heritage of all humankind.
