Metalcore is not metal because it's a mix between hardcore (Screams) and hard rock (clean vocals) Both of those are not metal and combining two non genres of metal together doesn't give you metal. Metalcore is not metal because it's a mix between hardcore (Screams) and hard rock (clean vocals) Both of those are not metal and combining two non genres of metal together doesn't give you metal. The only problem I have with videos like this is when the arguments brought forth as to why a band sucks are stated as if they are absolute, set-in-stone fact. One example: ". . .the riffs they make are garbage because they're more focused on being technical than have the riffs sound good." Okay? When has BFMV come out and explicitly stated "we try to be technical in our music"? Please show me. You're very much entitled to your opinion, but please keep it as just that. Don't treat it as truth.
