@haminacan8675309 no your both wrong its an a3 the a2 was used in vietnam the top hand guard cannot be removed the a3 was used alot in operation desert storm and now the a4 is currently being used by the marines it has a full fore grip ris rail system

ok yeah i just found out from a gun tech that the pinging gear either goes on top of the bevel or below, i cant remember if its on top or below

Huh... still don't know what he means:

1) Bevel Gear (Connects to motor directly)

2) Spur gear (Transitions bevel to sector gear)

3) Sector gear (Pulls back piston/releases it)

If you Google pinging gear, there is nothing related to it, do it with the other 3 names and get a shit ton of links. I don't know where he got pinging from..
