  • Tää on upeeta +++++++++++++++++++

  • Great!!

  • 1:30 Mikä hymy <3 :D

  • orale interesante

  • ♪♫♥ !

  • Todella loistavaa esiintymistä.Kiitos tästä kansallis aarteesta.

  • tosi hauska biisi, aina tulee hyvälle mielelle kun tän kuulee :)

  • Okay!! This makes me laugh!! Brilliant!!

  • Carola oli erittäin kaunis! :)

  • "We got married in a fever

    Hotter than a pepper sprout

We've been talkin' 'bout - Jackson

Ever since the fire went out..."

The bigger hit version of this in the USA was by Nancy Sinatra and Lee Hazelwood.

This song was also used for Dodge commercials:

"We got a case of Dodge Fever

    Hotter than a pepper sprout

We've been talkin' 'bout - Charger

Ever since the car came out..."

  • Huh. Oli muuten upea nainen tuo Carola. Mahtava versio muutenki.

  • huippu versio, paljon parempi kuin alkuperäinen

  • tästä tulee aina reipas mieli:)

  • I'm American and this is a VERY American song... but I have to say, although I don't understand a word, I think it sounds BETTER IN FINNISH!! Especially the partst that sounds like "Urrrrrrrrrr-hoaaan" and "Mukuballllda"... lol.

  • Yes , You're Right ! - Erkele (Finland)

  • @Erkele: I have a question for you. The singers' names look like Swedish to me, but they are Finns. Do many Finns have Swedish names? Do many Swedes have Finnish names?

  • It' s quite common. There historic minority of swedish speaking in Finland, and same thing in Sweden: Many hundred thousand finnish in there also. Many finnish also have Swedish name though they speak finnish. Sweden and Finland was same gountry about 600 years in past times. - Erkele

  • It's not a minority, it's a group of old school people that don't want anything to change.

  • This has to be a cover from States

  • "Urrrrrrrrrr-hoaaan" and "Mukuballllda"

"Urho" is a word that means braveheart or something like that. That makes sense why it is also a beer brand. "Urhoaan" is in partitive case with genitive add. "Mukavalta" word you might use in a sentence like "Mukavalta tuntui niin" "It felt so nice". "mukava" is translation to "nice".

  • Thanks for the Finnish lesson! Your explanation/translation proves my point: It sounds better in Finnish. "Mukuvalllllllllta" sounds nicer than "nice" LOL.

Go, Suomi!! Please remake more American songs like this one--and not all that terrible 80's heavy metal that's so popular over there... How did that happen? The image of Finland in USA is that you're generally more socially-conscious, gentle, educated, drug-free and peace-loving than the heavy metal fans here in the USA. Right?

  • Answer might be the fact that typical finnish heavy metal fan is "socially-conscious, gentle, educated, drug-free and peace-loving". It is somewhat strange. If you are a nice guy in Finland you play metal. Not bad.

Sorry, could not point you to new direction in your conquer of Great American Songs in Finnish -tour but Carola was perfect cute.

As a last resort you might try: Kirka - Silta yli synkän virran 1971. Enjoy!

  • Hey, thanks Allanizerist. One day, I'd like to go to Finland. You're the nicest people I've talked to on YouTube! Take care.

  • Thank you, it was fun to share few lines with you!

  • Carola olis ollut näyttelijä-ainestakin!!

  • Did Finland or Sweden had an Elvis Presley of their own?

  • No we did'nt had any celebritys like Elvis. But Sammy Babitzin was like Buddy Holly. A rising star, but he died too early

  • Wow, very cool and funny version of 'Jackson' (originally sung by Johnny Cash and June Carter).

Lasse and Carola look so cute together.

  • Upea kappale ! Letkeä ja iloinen aina kuunnellessa tulee hyvä fiilis.Tätä on niin kiva laulaa karaokessa duona <3 !!

  • helmi

  • makee piisi!!!ja tämä esitys :) Carola on yksi eniten arvostamistani laulajattaristamme(kamalia sanoja!!!pitäisiköhän sittenkin yrittää englanniksi...) KIITOS!!!

  • Ei Suomessa edes suomenruotsalaisten tarvitse käyttää ulkomaan kieliä.Jag var ung på den här tiden
