@vishalscarlet rx100 is powerful as it is 2 stroke while rx135 is 4 stroke. You can easily start from standstill in 4th gear on rx100 and drive as low as 10km/h in 4th gear with pillion on rx100.

Nice video...........the RX100 can surely pull a 120kmph in stock conditions,the rest is speedo error.Every bike has that.

Top speed of a Pulsar 200 without speedo errors is 120kmph while for a Pulsar 220DTSi without speedo errors is 135 kmph.

Every bike equipped with front wheel mounted speed sensor would produce some errors.

If the Yamaha in the video shows that its doing around 135 kmph then it is actually in the speed range 115-120kmph.

Common guys the speedo has a huge error. That kind speed is not possible on an RX . I own a pulsar 220 and i know the situation when my bike goes above 135. But loads of respect to R-X.!

There s no way we can pick these parts up Period.....For cryin out loud the spare parts of the Indian engines themselves cost a bomb cause of exclusivity.Moreover the compatibility issues spring up even after u overcome it,u ll ultimately have a fast rx with you, which prob d cost as much as a brand new economy model car.Ha ha.But trust me....I d go that far for the face melting performance.But I m not sure of the compatibility though.Can u shed some light on it? U can PM me if u like.

No buddy....this s a 1986 model rx 100.They toned down the original rx 125 and released it in India as the Rx 100....it sold in India till,1996 after which Escorts Yamaha Released the Rx g,rx tiger,Rx z and the Rx 135 all "Indianized" versions of the original Series.

Hey men! nice Vid! cheers from an another Argentine fellow! a friend of mine has an rx100 and the acceleration is sick for a 110cc!!! im surprised with it. Yamaha makes very good bikes! im saving some money to buy myself a motorcycle. The only thing the scares me is people drive very bad at my end and there are many motorcycle thiefs nowadays who may shoot you for a cheap bike =( i hope you dont suffer these disgrace out there in India. 1st thing check u r engine condition & rebuild it if necessary from Yamaha specialized mechanic(don't give it in show-room)

2) if engine condition is well,then there must be some problem in carburetor setting

1st tight air scew till the last. Increase idling.

Adjust air screw of carb. around 1.5 to 1.45 turns open (anticlockwise) & set idling as per.

it is the best handling bike in the right hands, never wobbles, no tank slap, perfect dynamics, light weight but extremly confident at any speed. ive been riding rx100 everyday, have done 30,000 kms on highway in 1.5 years, never i felt this is unstable bike.

wow....relax man......and yes....I have ridden the rx before....its me in the vid above, wit my friend as a pillion.

We all love the rx a lot but the truth is.....it really is unstable at high speeds in its stock form.....its not designed to handle speeds of over 150 kmphs...its the most one of the most reliable bikes ever but it can be unstable at speeds of 150-160ks!!!

cool vid i just discovered a the perfect set of home made race reeds for a rxs 100 1987 yamaha yz 125 slightly modify them n trust me they will make your roxy sing like a biatch contributed to killing my little ends though but hey itll go again soon only cheap repair good luck and happy moddifying

@arunbgn ............Ported,second over size piston,,large dia carb but no chamber.Yes it will do 115-120.max upto 125.Not more than that.
