i have heared a couple of people say to me that ridin in sand without a paddle tyre can fuck up ya gear box is this true? and iam new to dirtbikes and just wanting to know what tyre pressure should i have them at when iam goin beach riding. thanks

@az09983 I'd say that is bullshit mate, ive never used a paddle, i reckon around 13psi on the beach but never relly checked...just see what feels good mate. goodluck on the bikes!

A bit of both mate just got it in the right power curve and pop a bit of clutch and up she goes, at high speed it really needs a bit of clutch to get the front right up. Cheers buddy

I love it mate Ive had it for 12 months and put just over 100hours on it now. Put 1 piston and rings, one helm joint in swing arm and thats it, not including chain sprox and tyres. It still goes like new and rides the same. Cant beat KTM I reckon!

the 300 is an awesome bike, im sure youll love it. You should see my response to snow, ive got some vids up. It can be really fun, especially when you get to piss off snowmobilers by passing them. Or at least, if they're not pissed , they are highly amused. Just be careful about riding when it's too cold, because you can blow your suspension seals, as i am sorely regretting.
