  • You're right - starting an online business is easy! The part that people have trouble with is setting up a system that works, and that should be OUTSOURCED so that everything that has to get done, like video marketing, social media marketing and article marketing can get done while you, the biz owner, can stay in the CEO seat of their online business.

    All he did is repeat himself saying "it's science" and "learn how to get the systems". This gave ZERO information. We KNOW people set up systems... we were looking for HOW to set up those systems.

There is nothing I want more then to start my own business so i can work from home. I have got some quotes on websites etc but I don't know HOW to get started. Or WHAT I can sell/service to provide..

  • @OhPhilly On the internet, a product is the easy thing to get. There are already millions of them out there. All you need to do is just look for them.

    It's the marketing and setup that so many people goof on. Getting people to see what your selling or promoting and filtering out the people that wont buy, that is the trick.

  • I'm a web designer and a PHP programmer and worked with the internet for about 8 or so years now. I'm familiar with setting up the actual site, generating traffic, and creating a good image for the site... but what I need advice on is the legal issues. Would I go about setting up an online store the same way as any other commercial business? How do I get a tax ID? and would I have to register my business with the state?

  • The camera constantly moving was a bit annoying. You should have sat behind a desk and spoke to a fixed camera for a more professional looking vid. But because of the simple straight forward informative advice, this vid is 5 stars.
