I wish to believe the same thing; I have fond SNL memories of her. However she has gone to the dark side. She found a niche performing at GOP gigs. This is her "Shtick" now.
GOP desires love from any celeb no matter how D list. Look at SNL alum Dennis Miller. His career was non existent, than Fox picked him up; now he's a radio GOP water carrier and a BillO ass kisser. You have to make a living, GOP whore or not, it's a living I suppose. Fox pays their robot propagandist well.

Her comment mixes some truth, Karl Marx & George Orwell did write books, on communism & dangers of omnipresent goverment propaganda & control. It applies to the current administration more than Obama or liberals IMHO, but we must guard against these things regardless of party, fair enough.
