Once someone told me having skulls of any kind in a (my) kitchen was "inappropriate"! haha! (this about the wackiest kitchen ever!) I would have been amazed to NOT find a skull!!There's no pleasing everyone, Gary. Thanks especially for posting your experience as a working artist from the business end. And I agree, it's a trade-off: less $ in your pocket but greater public exposure. Cheerio!
Gawd, it's gorgeous there Gary! What a lovely drive. Sorry about the sour feeling abut the pricing of the white painting. And I love the skull paintings. She da loozah! Go bring those cows in. Gorgeous.
you live in such a great place. whatdya mean "weird'? your stuff is great. is that the only gallery your in right now? your stuff would sell like hotcakes in america.
Yes, beautiful sceneray Gary! I like driving in the car when it is raining. So cozy. That hotdog looked a little rough though. Thanks for the quick peek of the gallery, there is a nice variety of stuff there. Good for attracting people and she sells food too?....Perfect. Sorry to hear that you didn't get the price you wanted for the large painting....that hurts, I'm sure. Just consider it on loan to her until the Solo show and then it will be her loss. I wonder, does she follow you on yt?
I like listening to your talks to self. And Yeah pricing is a big subject for disagreements. Gallery looks good too. And can you send me some rain we have had none for a month here!!
I cannot believe she didn't want your boxes and the sardine can assemblage. I think they are both beautiful and intriguing. I hope the boxes you left will sell and that she will see how wrong she was and have to eat a little crow when she asks for more. Lol. Norway is very beautiful . Thanks for taking us along with you. Hugs, Pat :-)
Gosh, the camera scanning all over the place makes me feel like you're going to crash! Phew! What a trip!

That was fun. I felt like I was in the car with you. Pricing is a major pain in the ass. I hope you get what you want! :)

I was turned down by a gallery for having skulls in my artwork as well. People just don't like skulls!
