a rather lethargic cannonball? and i always thought one of them had placed a cannonball on the ground and then walked away from it...perhaps if they were lucky the mild gradient of the building might have got the ball rolling gently in the same direction...but .i'm over-thinking everything -i should really get back to my essay :/

Haha you have a point. I think it's because a lot of songs are just written to be catchy or express an emotion, not really to tell a story. Not that that's really an excuse. :p
