This is unconfirmed but I read that FOX has recanted and will be allowing Ron Paul into the Dec. 4 debates. Apparently calls jammed in and/or their recent polls say he was up to 5 percent. They are still blocking out Tancredo and Hunter.

On July 2, 2007, Ron Paul was not invited to the Iowa Tax Forum because, according to its sponsors,he was not a serious candidate with a serious, successful campaign organization in Iowa. According to eyewitnesses, the Ron Paul tax rally taking place next door to the Iowa Tax Forum actually outdrew the official forum and its many GOP candidates.

Eyewitnesses attending the rally put the numbers at 1000-1200, or 200-600 more than the formal GOP forum.
