if ya search NGC 2044 then right besides it there will be a big star (lighting yellow) then zoom in on that star/planet and then you'll find a picture like it's cut into the star/planet. what is this phenomena? i have no idea....

not to mention that all the photos with beter than one meter of resolution are taken by areoplane and not sattellite, and even if there was a way to continuously veiw a place from space in real time, the weather and obsticles such as tunnels would basicly result in you lossing your target.

I think polaris was where the sun would be. But they couldnt put the sun up there...Oviously... So they cut and pasted it out. And re attactched the gap to the middle. M theory...

IF192 the star is called VY Canis Majoris . Its over 2600 times the size of the sun. It completely dwarfs the sun.

im pretty sure you can't see all of the universe. you can go in one direction for millions of years going at 100000000 km per second and still see new galaxies and aliend :D

It would have been helpful if Google could add the horizon to these maps. Example: If I look North, how high in the sky must I look to get what is displayed on the map.
