stay cool my friends, You got it right, There was nothing like loading 6 surfboards into a VW bus at 5am and heading to the beach (Mine was hermosa 1973-1979) and paddling out beyound the early morning breakers and watched for the waves to take shape. We usually talked about Girls and Cars while we waited for the cool salt water to warm up inside our Wetsuits. Somebody always brought some happy Weed and the rest is 70's Surfing history, I wish you all could have been there It was an amazing time
