by character customization, what do you mean?

this character was created in another program (maya) then imported by editing one of the games .ini files. it requires a fair amount of technical knowledge and is not a "feature" of the game.

Unreal Editor is bundled with UT3 = Make maps (even for console versions).

PC, console games can't support "custom content" since they're stored on "read-only" discs which prevent you from changing files.

even with the PS3 version of unreal you have to use assets that are already in the game or levels won't work and thus characters are imposible.
