because extracting raw hydrogen is a process that takes lots of energy, which is mostly produced by fossil fuels. In my opinion, nuclear power is the way to go, there is less waste, and it is less damaging to the environment since it can be contained. I'd take the risk of a meltdown every couple of decades over all of us cooking in a couple of decades.
The incredible life-long effort by Al Gore and his helpers has brought about a global awareness that can only help all people today and into the future. Whether he runs or not, look at what a great accomplishment and work he has done. This is wonderful.
