  • Video sucks

  • Just 3 years ago, I bought a 1 GB flash drive for $20, times surely have changed..

  • My TEAM X092 32GB rapes that. e-SATA R: 110MB/sec and W: 40MB/sec. USB 2.0 R: 35MB/sec and W: 25MB/sec. I love it, it's a huge drive and everyone at school tells me so. I got mine in Australia for $68 + $15 S&H!!! Usually around $150. Go to MEGABUY (Australia) and they might still have some.

  • A 4 minute commercial with zero tests and real stats.

  • Great video where is Albert did he leave TD?

  • Cool! Newer eSATAp (power over eSATA) is backward compatible with USB & can self powered. A desktop or mac pro simply need a delock bracket.

ZERO driver, no need OS or BIOS AHCI tweak!

  • extremely dope xD

  • i was meh, cuz 99% of pcs have 2.0

i saw that port and i was like WANT!

  • Damn it may be fast but shit it is clunky as fuck yo!

  • @iChristian91206 waaaaay worth it though man. USB2.0 straight up sucks. like comparing an i7 to a pentium 3

  • Albert, that's an mini-usb on the back not a usb 2.0 ;)

  • for a start i was mearly stating that usb and the new revision of sata out this year is faster and one thing you seem careless not to mention about is its irrelivent about the speed issue becasue what is the transfer rates on sata hdd/ssd

    lower isnt it

and when it dose come out it will ocst a fortune

  • you see this is old now and they are bringing out usb3.0 and a new revision of sata/esata at start of next year

and usb 3.0 has higher transfer speeds than sata

  • not true, higher bandwidth doesnt mean higher actual speeds,, sata II 3GB/s is kinda comparable to USB 3.0 6GB/s, but you dont want to compare it to SAS 6GB/s or new SATA III 6GB/s

  • usb blows. esata faster,

  • @tux0505 hoe many people actualy have esata?

very few people even people who have sata ports in pc and most of the people that could add them to ther pc dont even now what a pci express card is

  • they have. There cool

  • im gonna instal an OS on this thing lol

  • i've seen a 256gb flash drive with my own eyes. Not a fake, there is already two models from different companies released.

  • How much is the 32 gb one?

  • I have a cruzer 4 gig usb flash drive!

  • you dont understand you dont need to upgrade

when ever you buy some sata cadies

you get an internal sata to esata pci card

and you can pick them up starting at £5-£10

so its still cheap becasue i tend to use large files and they take forever

  • yeah but what's the point? you can also get an esata pci card that doesn't take one of ur sata ports. it uses the pci slot.

  • u should stick with USB 2.0. you don't need to upgrade the port that is less compatible, just build better drives with faster read/write speeds to use the 480Mbps

  • my 64gb one aint

  • dude my grandma has a quad cor tri sli gamign rig

  • Who cares?

  • Mine too!!!!!

  • 480mbit? isnt that like 60mb/sec?????????

  • bit to byte is divide by 8

  • 60MB/s not small b

  • u can get 64gb memory sticks

  • 64GB?? My first USB stick was 64MB!

  • @talldude123 32

  • "go to your grandma's house" xD rofl

  • HAHA

look at the monitor at 2:03

  • HE LIES THERE IS AN 8 GIG ONE LIER LOLZ

  • who'd buy a really powerful 8GB flash drive?

  • poor ppl lolz who else? anyways he said there is only 16 n 32 but there is also an 8 gig one so yeah lolz

  • dope XD

  • i'll wait for usb 3

  • trim your nails :P

  • 'you wanna slit your wrists...'

  • not all computers have eSATA on them sooo...if the computer your taking info from doesnt have it...then ur fucked. so whats the point if you cant use it 90% of the time then why waste the money?

  • Bragging rights

    ; )

  • you can use it with usb...

  • lol dude it can use usb

albert said that, did u even watch the video?

  • ya, i just realized that lol my bad

  • This would be real good to install a portable operating system to. When USB 3 comes out, this technology will be made redundant though.

  • i agree this Will happen

  • Wow, a little insensitive and offensive there a couple times

  • Yeah...

  • my grandma is scared of my pc

  • slit your wrists roflmao XD

  • Apparently the eSATA isn't "Plug and Play". Is this true?

  • Yeah... He said it in the video

  • I use flash drives for readyboost. Will this benefit me? It seems to take a long time to populate my readyboost drive on boot up.

  • fuck 2 of these usb can get my whole computer on it

  • I have a 32-gig version of THIS Throttle! haha yessss

  • USB ftw!..

  • Just wait till the 256gb stuff comes out folks!

  • *sniff*

  • hey this question is random but is a 350Watt PSU enough to run these specs?

    -XFX 8600GT 512MB DDR3

    -2.5GB DDR2 RAM @800MHz

    -AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ @ 2.7

  • Comment removed

  • Should work, but go with something around 400 W just to be sure and please don't buy a crap PSU, it's good to have a high quality heart for your PC (more efficiency and lifetime).

  • very tight man, i think ur system will crash while playin a modern game

get a 500W psu if u want, for stability

    take care

  • Looks nice. I'll take 2 of them :P

  • lol slit your wrists.. i no how he feels

  • Get a Partriot 64gb

  • 2:04 background haha i may buy this, nice product

  • How did u notice that lol?

  • why are you guys still uploading videos to this channel? i thought you all where changing channels to computertv?

  • Just wait until USB 3.0, then this will be obsolete...

  • Its backwards compatable

  • so true

  • no this is better than usb 3.0

  • yea!!

  • usb 3.0 is faster than eSATA whatever.0

  • Yep USB 3.0 can have up to 5 GBit/s... eSATA II has 3 GBit/s.

  • usb 3.0 wont be supported on windows 7 when it is released. You will need to wait prob till Q4 2010 for usb 3.0 to start appearing on the market. Don't forget it will take a while for products to actually start using usb 3.0

  • You couldn't be more incorrect. USB 3.0 has a speed of 5.0 Gbit/s, where eSATA has a speed of 3.0 Gbit/s. Know your facts before you make an ass of yourself.

  • Sata3 is coming 6gbits;-)

  • its amazing how much confidence you have over the internet

  • I know my facts

  • lolll

"It takes forever, you wanna slit your wrists"

    quite the amazing flash drive

but why does the USB have to be female ?

why couldn't they make it male ? wouldn't that have made alot more sense ?

i've seen a few flash drives with both male eSata, and USB 2.0

that honestly makes the most sense to me

otherwise, looks like a 'kickass product' lol

  • I would just buy the 16gb and use it for "Ready Boost" sense I only have one machine with eSaTa.

  • you can only do upto 4gb on readyboost "thefamilyk"

  • awsome little flash drive getting one for my new laptop :)

  • esata flash drive huh, sounds cool for those who really need it. keyword, NEED IT! lol

  • I have a PWNY 16GB Flash Drive, It pwns.

  • SWEET

  • faiil.

  • how is it?
