The Resident Evil film universe is definitely a strange and weird one. I can only assume that Anderson, just like the first film is using the Alice in Wonderland mythology to the rest of his films as a method to all the madness of the characters (including Alice), settings and plots (if any).
Resident Evil: Retribution is going to suck... well after the other Resident Evil movies it goes with out saying. It just makes me laugh that in the trailer for RE: Retribution they have music from Tron Legacy. Also I think Patrick Steward (If I'm wrong let me know) does the narration for the first part. Hell I thought I was watching a commercial in the first 30 second of the trailer. E-Rod is going to have plenty to make fun off come later this year.
Any thoughts on the new trailer? They brought Michelle Rodriguez back. And apparently also Oded Fehr and Colin Salmon. And they've got Ada wong... And Barry. And I guess now they're TRULY down to just throwing all the shit thay can find at us.

I really don't think Evil-E should try to destroy Erod, nor should Erod try to destroy Evil-E. Light and Darkness are the two halves of a complete whole: One cannot exist without the other. So, if one destroys the other, they'll ultimately destory themselves as well.
You know, Chris taking 4 movies to appear isn't the issue with this movie, it's that he's played by WENTWORTH FUCKING MILLER. The dude has ONE tone, and ONE expression. Which for Prison Break worked, since he was supposed to be two shades shy of being autistic.
Oh, and Ali Larter was Claire in the previous movie too, wasn't she? The only character brought in from the games that was done any justice was Jill, and that's partially cause I love me some Sienna Guillory.
It's almost like Paul is taunting us, he makes it look like somebody from the games is going to do something cool, he just ruins the moment by having Alice do it instead. And this and the last movie have almost nothing to do with the games.
You're my hero for busting these movies. There is no series more deserving to be busted, not even Bay's Transformers. How Anderson, who made Mortal Kombat, one of my favorite movies (I hate the second besides the mud fight) can go on to make these atrocities is unbelievable.
Oh, and the shower scene was awesome in 3D. The only reason why it worked in 3D so well is because most of the movie is in slow motion.

ERod brought up many great errors with this film series over the course of his reviews, far too many to ignore. How do you explain Cowboy getting blown up twice in the second movie and then eaten in the third? Why didn't Wesker just use the samples of Alice's DNA that Umbrella already had? They were making clones, so why does he need her if he has her dna? Say what you want, small references to source material can't excuse how bad these films are.
The end of the movie is a total Rip Off the Fallout 2 computer RPG game relased by interplay in 1998, the main bad guys force are on the Oil platform, and you geting there using a tanker. And gues what? the Flying things at the end are nothing else than Vertibirds from fallout 2 which enclave uses to transport forces from platfor to land. FUCK THIS PIECE OF CRAP MOVIE. fallout 2 is a legend game, no one rip off from it and stay alive. Fuck then Erod

Paul Anderson was suppose to be making a castlevania movie. But the rights were denied by the game developers. Thank god. I'm the only dislike so far for your review. i'm surprised. many of the things you criticized are references to the games.
the axe man in the bag is from resi 5.
also you skipped most of the wesker fight, which mirrors the resi 5 wesker fight quite closely.
your review lacks real points of contention.

@SwindleUK He never did play the games. So yeah, it skips crucial points but it wouldn't have made a difference. The movie is still shit.

@SwindleUK I gotta disagree with you on this.
ERod brought up many great errors with this film series over the course of his reviews, far too many to ignore. How do you explain Cowboy getting blown up twice in the second movie and then eaten in the third? Why didn't Wesker just use the samples of Alice's DNA that Umbrella already had? They were making clones, so why does he need her if he has her dna? Say what you want, small references to source material can't excuse how bad these films are.

The end of the movie is a total Rip Off the Fallout 2 computer RPG game relased by interplay in 1998, the main bad guys force are on the Oil platform, and you geting there using a tanker. And gues what? the Flying things at the end are nothing else than Vertibirds from fallout 2 which enclave uses to transport forces from platfor to land. FUCK THIS PIECE OF CRAP MOVIE. fallout 2 is a legend game, no one rip off from it and stay alive. Fuck then Erod

I haven't seen the movies, but I've played the games. I see some stuff every now and then that's like, "Oh hey, that's from the game." but otherwise I just ignore these movies. I wonder if they'll ever reboot the franchise and get it right?

Paul Anderson was suppose to be making a castlevania movie. But the rights were denied by the game developers. Thank god. To be honest I couldn't enjoy these movies becuz they were just a massive rip off of other movies. Every time I watch it, I either want to watch the movies its ripping off or play the game. This needs a reboot asap. If it happens leave alice out of it. I wouldn't even want a rabbit in it lol.

I recommend Resident Evil 4 to you if you've never played a Resi game. There's an HD remake of it coming out soon and it is such an awesome game.

ho by the way, good Crotch-Grabbin, and I confirm, I didn't play any resident evil game, and I didn't get than it's was the little alice decoy's from resident evil apocalypse. And why make a cliffangher when the main villain is dead ? all than umbrella have now is a little army who's gonna be killed by alice in 30 seconds and jill who just need to take of her thing in her breast, and recover from the amnesia who follow... Did I just tell a more exciting story than afterlife ?
