So how can i record the audio output of the ezdrummer track to another audio track on cubase? i want to have an audio track instead of a midi track when i record the rest ofd the instruments.. and ofc when i do the audio mixdown..

@zildijan333 not sure why it would block sound - asio4all gives you a asio driver for your built in WDM audio card. That said, asio4all is not a fix for this issue.

Please help! I can't see Ezdrummer in the VST drop down box, both Cubase 5 and Ezdrummer are Legit versions

@jmon51342088 Likely you need to tell cubase where to find EZdrummer on your hard drive. Search for Ezdrummer.dll. Then go into the plugin setup in cubase, click VST 2x plugins, set a new location on your computer, browse to where the .dll file is, rescan your VSTs, and it should show up.

@shannonrite1 you don't. that's not something you can really do with MIDI. The only way would be to bus the EZD outs into aux tracks, then those aux tracks into audio tracks, record arm all audio tracks, hit record in transport, and the audio should show up as waveforms. However, this doesn't always work.

@shannonrite1 well, you can't record it as actual audio - but when you do a mixdown, you can bounce each track out as its own track, with the FX and such included.

My cubase LE doesn't even have a vst instrument menu, only performance and connections. I hate this Cubase LE crap. I should have stood with Pro Tools LE. Every thing works on there. None of these videos pertain to my Cubase. I wish people would make a distinction when making these vids.

@benthemiester Sorry, but we can't account for how a developer restricts their program. We can make a note that we're talking about the full version of the programs we refer to, but unfortunately, you have to check the documentation of your software to make sure it'll work with other software first.
