i watched episodes 1-26 of the original Evangelion english dubbed, and at the end i did not know WTF was going on. so, i hear about "Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance" is that what i should watch AFTER i saw episodes 1-26? because it's very confusing about the movies and the episodes and the later remakes and AAHH it's so frustrating, does anyone know the answer to this? 1-26 then "Death and Rebirth" then "End of Evangelion" movies(keep in mind the first half of DaR is a recap and the first half of EoE is the second half of DaR movie)

as for the new movies, the first 3 are a retelling of 1-26. while the 4th will present a completely new conclusion of the story

my advice to you is ALWAYS watch Eva on DVD or raw. every group that has ever tried to encode Eva has failed so bad, seriously they don't understand the concept of Telecine, framerates and motion vectors

Eva is one of few Anime that are better to watched Eng dubbed, trust me: Eng Asuka can actually speak German and Jap Asuka sounds way too jailbait anyway, plus the production budget was bigger for the English one.

just don't watch it download/streamed unless its a DVD-copy(raw)

Here's a theory about Kaworu after seeing the film...

He keeps saying weird stuff like:

My conclusion: He is the same Kaworu, or at least has the memories of, the Kaworu which appeared in the original TV series.

Just went to watch the film today and all I can say is that it really is 'destruction'!!!!!!!!!!!!!

100% intensity throughout the film, there's no moment of peace.

The music in the film is incredible, much better than the first film.

btw, everything that happens is completely unexpected, even battle scenes which we have all seen before have been twisted to make them much more gruesome and provides an intense adrenalin rush (I couldn't stop shaking!!!!!!!!)

The End of Evangelion is the only evangelion dvd that you can buy here, in Portugal, and of course I bought it.. but rebuild of evangelion isnt. And probably they will never sell it here If i wanted the dvd i wound have to buy it online.. and that is probably what i'm going to do.. but sometimes people say "buy the original" because it's really easy for them to say that.. but here its really complicated to buy something like this.. anime isnt exactly famous around here..=/
