Well ODST doesn't have multiplayer, but it comes with a CD with all of halo 3's MP maps so you can play them if you want, and that CD includes all the DLC maps

so technically its for Halo 3

umm wrong mythic map pack 2 is with odst only! not on the marketplace and limited edition only has the odst/unsc controller you dont get anything recon related/codes in either you need to get all7 vidmasters for all recon

well, ODST will have a disk that comes with the ODST game that has all the old Halo 3 multilayer maps on it and the three new ones. ODST does't really have Multilayer itself but it will come with the new map.

Technically they come out for both

they will be on XBL Marketplace, but if you get ODST you get them Free :D

Don't confuse the new maps with the Halo: Reach Beta that will start in 2010 that is completely different

Well, if you get it off marketplace (assuming Bungie places it on Marketplace) It will cost money whether you bought the original mythic map pack or not, because it is part of the 60$ for the ODST and if you get it free it would be ripping the people who get ODST off..
