They used the waterfall shells in downtown PIT this year. They are pretty badass. I also like last year's finale better. The second wave of salutes was awesome. They did this 3 times in 2007 in New Castle. Was insane. Awesome vid Dave. I always enjoy them.

Nice, based on the vids I would say '08 was better...but we only get to see so much from the vids. So who pays for this show, the city? And you know how much it cost them for the '08 show and this years? Cause either of them are quite impressive shows.

I am surprised how good this show really was. The show is definitely better than a number of larger cities I have seen recently with an obviously larger budget. Pyrotechnico and the crew did a heck of a job. I also watched last years show just now and do think that the fianle was better on that one. That salute barrage last year was something else - got my adrenaline going just watching it!

Pretty nice finale(both Caste Village videos). I really liked the faster rate of the salutes going off on your video of last years Caste Village finale, it's pretty close though. Both videos are good.

It was that second wave of salutes last year that surprised me last year. But this was good also. Just a great deep sound on these Pyrotecnico cake displays.
