Richard Dawkins - Gave up religion at 15 - MSU

The Bible says in Genesis 1:24-31 that all land animals (so that includes dinosaurs) and people were created on the same day. The geologic record clearly shows that the large dinosaurs died out at least 65 million years before humans showed up on the planet. Figure it out. The Bible is just old myths and legends, not truth.  Religion is like history class - without the facts.

Bottom line is: Dawkins chose to denounce God at age 15 out of rebellion and has waged his war ever since. He obviously didnt know enough about either side to make a concrete descision at age 15 so it all comes down to non-scientific rebellion

@bigtravman im just saying that he is being a hypocrite when he says that people who blindly accept religion in their youth are essentially morons. He accepted atheism in his youth at the age of 15, an age where he obviously didn't know enough about Christianity or Evolution to make an honest scientific descision on which side to choose, so his choice was obviously fueled out of rebellion rather than scientific proof.

@trackguy2 You can't rebel against something that doesn't exist. If I told you there were invisible, untouchable, scentless unicorns in your yard, would you begin plotting and scheming against them? No, in order to do that, you first have to actually believe there are unicorns.
