This is a great short done by a high school student that shows promising talent. It was his own original idea along with the script, editing, and soundtrack. Looking forward to seeing what he comes up with next and watching his talent grow!

Okay, I'll give a professonal review of this. Very nice job! I liked the camara angles and the transitions! Very clean. The story was nice and touching. Something people can easily relate to. I did see a few things that needed improvement though... On a personal level, Spanish is a turn-off for me, no offense, but I did like how it gave the video culture. (Continued below)
With the English text, be sure to watch the background color. In the confrontation scene the tablecloth was white and made it hard to view the text. Either change the color of the camoflauged words or change the entire line's color. Also in the confrontation scene, I felt the song used was a bit too much for what happened... Maybe a more subtle song with the same feeling should've been used. (Continued below)
The ending seemed a little open ended, which isn't a bad thing, but you could have spent a little more time showing how his father's absence made him and his mom feel or show what happened to his father. Lastly, in the credits, make sure the song ends when the credits do. That's crucial for any movies end! It gives that satisfied feeling that it's over. Great job! Keep making videos! You've got a nack for it!! :D One more thing... I though you said I was gonna be in the credits... >.>
