This is a really good media trailer! I'm doing one myself and really like the last soundtrack you used, where did you get it from? :)

@shad2k6 Thank you :) The first track is called 'A Haunting Memory' and the second is called 'The Prayer' both by a sound score/modern orchestra group called 'Future World Music'. I bought the album so I don't know whether it's online free anywhere.

Hehehe, I didn't realise until after editing them together how much their titles fit the story of my trailer haha!

Really good trailer, well done. I am soon to be doing AS media studies and was wondering if you have any tips for me?

@MissSmithyyyyyyy Make sure you know *exactly* what your brief is, what you're being marked on specifically, and focus on the conventions of your style or genre. Also, don't just listen to everything your teacher says - do some of your own research and don't be afraid to be independent. One key pointer though - a successful trailer only happens when the editor matches the clips to the music well and times the transitions to fit the music style. So fast music = fast transitions etc. Audio is key.

Fantastic. I know how hard it is as I did A Level Media not so long ago, achieved an A with a lot of hard work. I really hope you get a good grade because you deserve it.. FEEDBACK : looks very professional, the way you do that slow pan at the start with the voiceover v.effective, love the use of the music, the use of black and white. And the text too. MAKES YOU WANT TO GO SEE IT! Well done. =]

I did this all on my own without any help from my teacher or classmates (the actors I used were all younger or older than me), so I'm so happy you think it looks good! :D My friends keep asking me to make it into a film, maybe I will one day? I got a high B in the end I would've gotten an A because this years scores for exam & coursework were both As, but last year I got a low mark in my exam & didn't retake. I don't mind though, my B got me into the Uni I wanted! x
