Which makes my point!! A motorcycle has 2 wheels. When a motorcycle has basically training wheels on it, I don't consider that a motorcycle. If you need 2 more wheels to help in breaking a world record then congrats...you just went fast in something that has 4 wheels and didn't break any records. If you can't put your feet down...then you're not on a motorcycle. Having a motorcycle means there's that aura of danger of falling over.

The wheels are down when he takes off though, it has 4 wheels, I don't care if they get taken up half way down the track or whatever, fact is...it won't stay up on 2 wheels without the help 2 more wheels...which makes this NOT a motorcycle

it's cool I guess, but I'm much more impressed with land speed records attained on STOCK motorcycle frames/engines (with tuning + slippery bodywortk, of course). Making a rocket on 2 wheels from the ground up is cool, but in my opinion, doesn't capture the essence of attempting a "motorcycle" speed record

How do you figure that? Laminar flow is disturbed by trash on the skin of the surface traveling through a fluid. Since this streamliner doesn't have any sort of laminar surface control, polishing is the only means they have to reduce drag.
