I have to admit this is a rather odd choice for the UKIP channel.
I agree it is just political theater. Even if Scott should win the election the Mass democratic lead board of elections will not recognize him. The plan is to contest the election and postpone until a general election. And the Republicans won't even be able to sue for lack of representation because the Governor has appointed a replacement. Not that there isn't but a dimes bit of difference between the parties.
You do realize that you can become active in a party and change it, right?
Candidates are beer. Elections are a bar.
This bar has 2 beers. The 2 beers change with each election. 1 beer you will like, the other beer...well not so much. However, there exists no guarentee that the beer you like will be "on tap" the next time you visit. So the best way to get the beer you like, is to become friends with the bar tender, frequent that bar, and push to get your beer in.

Maybe you will have the result in getting more beers and get so drunk that you entirely loose the sense of reality and free will. Then they will just simply go on with their businesses, without you bothering.
A 2-party system can NEVER work. Backgroundforces have both sides under control. The only possibility for the US.people is to create a more-party system!
I've been noticing UKIP dabbling in the US recently - even seeming to align yourself with USA Republicans (Palin/ McCain - seriously?) without a proper explanation, or even with one is EXTREMELY dangerous to UKIP's presence and standing.

To clear up any misconceptions, we posted this for one simple reason. This was Ted Kennedy's seat and if a Republican wins this, (whatever his policies), it would be a political earthquake.

please be encouraged. one thing I've noticed is in the days leading up to tomorrow the Brown yard/window signs in Boston out-number the Co(mmie)akly signs 10 to 1:)
Dear UKIPs, it is to a great extent about abortion and homosexual marriage that the people of Mass do not want. Coakley is openly pro abortion and pro homosexual.
Why the hell is ukip relaying stuff to me about this plonker, give us some Ron Paul and Peter Schiff any day, not some idiot who's jumping on their bandwagon. He doesn't even have a detailed manifesto.
I think the "vast right wing" of America has been awakened to our threat from within...this guy would normally not have much of a chance in Mass., this a sign of the times....
@tedfreeway Our gov't has almost allways been tyrannical throughout history. Wasn't it England that had an empire and conquered a majority of the world then raped it for resources and cheap labour? sounds familiar doesn't it? I love my country but despise my gov't, they don't care for you and I, they care for their corporate interests and lobbyists. The ruling class are longing for a global gov't, regardless of your nationality, race or religion (unless your a multi-billionaire?)
