Thanx. Playing on black keys is sort of like playing on the "ropes"-less playing area than on the white keys. Thus the hand has to accomodate this by increasing the playing area-finger pads more than finger tips. Not a totally flat hand of course.
About the RH and flat.. I disagree with that approach as this is an etude on apreggios and velocity. Simple rules of physics apply. Flat hand...less speed. Not to mention at measure 33 through 40 where the score indicates heavy pedaling.. it's far too "muddy" with flat fingers. Hope that helps.. Nice playing btw.

Try to practice with metronome and one method is pushing down the keys as hard as you can.
This is good for the muscles wich demands this etudes.Combine these two methods and your playing will be better soon ;)
