MY FF7 characters... any one of them... could deal MAX DAMAGE. Same in FFX. In THIS... Zidane can't use Fire, he can't use fire-attribute moves... they are limited. And most ppl don't like this, even if the story and gameplay is good. NO minigame in this game compares to Blitzball FFX nor Golden Saucer FFVII

I love Final Fantasy IX, but it had a bad timing release. A month before the release of PS2? It didn't gain that much popularity due to that, and I think the reason so was because the characters were cute-ish more than the typical cliche anime style that Nomura often makes. His character designs are getting repetitive. Square Enix needs to give back Yoshitaka Amano the job as character designer instead of making him the bitch-boy who only does artwork for the logo.
