Scherzo no. 2 in B flat minor is my personal favorite, and by a somewhat wide margin.
I also love the Grande Valse Brillante in Eb, Heroic Polonaise in Ab, Nocturne 9/2 in Eb, Fantaisie Impromptu, Ballade 1, Minute Waltz, Waltz in C# minor...
I agree. Chopin's music speaks to my soul on so many personal levels. (Yes, I really that sounds very lame but it's true) Especially all his very slow tempo melancholic pieces such as his nocturnes. What I also enjoy is how he will speed them up at random times and then slow them back down. Thumbs up.
We are lucky to live in this era where we have access to almost any type of media. Back in those day few people could enjoy this music. There were people who died without ever listening anything from Chopin, Mozart, etc.
Hm.. i have to disagree with you. I myself hate the minute waltz. I just cant stand it. The grande valse is ok, but definatly not the best. I think chopins best pieces are: Ballade no 4, grande polonaise brillante, and umh... i geuss nocturne op 9 no 1. But there's just so many its difficult to choose
Such a big difference of style between the great composers' music and rock and rap music now. My opinion is that people should keep an open mind with all kinds of music.
you can't do better on piano without any education. There's much more to that than just noise. If you think that you could start playing on the piano with no education whatsoever, I'm sure that there are billions of people that will disagree with you.
His music very often squeezes my tears. It's like I'm missing something and as soon as I start listening him, I find it. God, thanks for Chopin and Internet.
@swedentracknfield if you like muse, they play that song on their new album, check out united states of eurasia at the end of that track its called collateral damage. I absolutely love that song
he STILL is the best no matter what for that style we never find another chopin he is unique and divine, his music fills our souls and hearts, so we do not present him in past tense as his music and soul will last forever
hey earthatic could you tell me where i could get the ful mazurka in B flat major in the same quality as it is shown in your video(by the way its great) thanks for the anserw
You didn't choose (as I clearly expected) his best compositions, but as always the most famous ones

Chopin is really the best composers of all times and he deserves to be called the "Poet of the Piano".

I have to say that Tom & Jerry and Disney ruined Chopin for me. Whenever I hear these songs, I can't help but think of those cartoons now.

can you please tell me name of Chopin music
supercharger92 2 years ago
I think the names of his compositions are in red in the video.
gedliew 2 years ago
@supercharger92 What kind of question is that?
Chopin has made... lots of music ... none of which he named, he just gave it numbers and category -
Waltzes, Etudes, Nocturnes, Polonaise, Preludes, Mazurkas and so on so thats his "music" although it kind of sounds better to say pieces :)
