Something about the music paired with the scenery of first the city, then the outlying towns, then the smaller villages and finally the empty, snowy fields going by gave me a tremendous sense of nostalgia. Awesome video... thanks so much for sharing!

Nice views out the window but I kinda miss Mick making comments or observations about what he is seeing. They tend to be the funniest parts of the videos.
@perdomot Yeah I've made better train vids, but I used to hold the camera & focus on points of interest & comment on them yep...But this was a 3.5 hour trip & I hadn't consumed enough beer by that stage...better train footage coming up : )

@jigsaw9919 Yes its amazing how different the climate appears to change as you pass through successive tunnels & mountain valleys : )
Another of our train vids, "Tokyo to Nagaoka" is an ecellent example as you get deeper into the mountains.
