  • The way Channing Tatum said Hell Naw-33 omfg

  • what the hell????fuck the police!

  • I got all excited because it said Channing Tatum unwrapped... Thumbs down for a misleading title.

  • njoyed this great movie in webmovietube

  • dude, these are hilarious!! saw this in webmovietube

  • what is the music that begins at 2:11 anyone know i love that music

  • guys riots are wrong the police did well

    they responde violence with violence

it´s the only thing that violent people understand.

The non violent, poor guys suffered because of some stupid ppl that wants to smash things up

  • what were the protestors chanting @ 1:58 - 2:13?

  • "ain't no power like the power of the people cuz the power of the people don't stop"

  • @mauriceh01 aint no power, but the power of people, 'cause the power of people don't stop

  • @mauriceh01 "ain't no power like the power of the people, 'cos the power of the people don't stop" :)

  • does anyone know the name of the song, towards the beginning when they brought the "democracy" "freedom" etc and formed a chain. That song, anyone know the name?

  • This was not a riot. A handful of windows were smashed by a handful of people. 50,000 others were non-violent, and the police overreacted. There is a reason the mayor and police chief lost their jobs...

  • i cant watch this movie without shaking the feeling that its trying to show the protesters as the ones who start the fight, like blingluckjustin said. the police started gassing them first. If it's based on true events it should at least not fudge important facts like that.

  • the police would have shot first, then the riots seems more accurate than this movie

  • Rioting is the only way

    Peaceful protests never made it

    GREEK REBELLION

    WE NEVER FORGET SEATTLE,GENOVA,ATHENS,PARIS (A)

  • I do not like the war movie category, but it will always support you

  • What a show of popular power! People from all walks coming together, w/o a leader, to say Enough to corporate greed. I saw it. I was there. BTW the police started tear gassing nonviolent protesters HOURS before the first window was smashed. Tellingly, if it wasn't for the "violence" it wouldn't have even been a media blip. Force only respects force. Sad but true.

  • i really hate events like this, because it seems like whenever something like this happens, its pretty much for the sake of violence instead (at leest 4 the masked dudes who were rioting). what i mean iz that whenever thers an opportunity, alot of people (not including the "non violent" guy) just see an opportunity to be violent and trashing everything, for its own sake.

  • Just got back from seeing the film in NY and it was great! Support this film if it's in your area, more people need to see this flick especially people that aren't aware of the WTO! The more people go to see it the greater chances of it being released nationally and that will be give the WTO a nice black eye! SUPPORT THIS FILM!!!!!

  • I live in Seattle and work downtown Seattle. I was right in the middle of WTO, I even participated in a few of the protests on my lunch breaks.

  • cont' Now this movie was mainly filmed in Vancouver BC but there were filming in Seattle too. I am an extra in the movie. They asked for volunteers to be in the movie from many union organizations (Job's with Justice and Communication Workers of America just to name a few) I'm personally with CWA, . I think it's great I can't wait to see it tomorrow.

  • so where was this filmed? was it all filmed in vancouver?

  • i'm from seattle and i don't remember it looking this bad. well, actually, it was pretty bad now that i think of it.

  • I seriously don't remember it being this chaotic. Big exaggeration.

  • I was there...this is a bit exaggerated...probably deliberately done so fro cinematic effect

  • od98

I was there as well, the actual protesting violence started and ended quickly in the first few hours. Eugene anarchists smashed up the place pretty fast and left, "poor trash" destroyed the cell phone store, misguided idiots smashed the Starbucks, and Capitol Hill residents kept the police busy at night. Hill residents probably gave them the hardest times throughout the week. There were some pretty legitimately scary times on the hill when it really did turn into a full riot.

  • Please, let's make a better world together, we can, not with confrontation, yes with demonstration after demonstration, we are not in sale, we can, we can change this world, we have a few chances.

  • Violence, or the threat of violence, is the only mechanism the average person has to change the system. Although peaceful protests designed to have the police react violently, is a very valuable technique for exposing the system, and making others reconsider their beliefs on the state.

  • that seems like technique that makes everyone looks bad

  • not only do I want to see this but I must see this

  • i'm still lost on how this is channing tatum's movie ??

  • i think his just in a bit of it =P

  • Looks great we are pulling for you guys.... Please stop by and watch our trailer.

    Thanks

    Clint Santiago Dahl

    producer

  • Oh please!

    1. The "cause" people came for was not shutting down intersections.

    2. The protests were not organized by some lone-star white guy with a sexy rebel attitude.

    3. Starbucks and other corporate chains that had their windows smashed were closed and empty

  • This movie is awesome, and really acurate. However, it's way underated, and it's impossible to find it anywhere. I watched it when it came out in France, but now, I want to see it again, and I can't seem to find it anywhere. Does anyone has a link or something?

  • It is not on DVD yet.

  • @ctunwrapped It is on dvd now because I have it on dvd.

  • @FlyingCrispi

BBC iplayer. In the films section. Go within the week if you want to see it.

  • I'm so going to watch this!!! It looks good. But mostly because Charlize is in it:D

  • Play 'where's waldo' looking for the agents provocateur.

Do you think you can find them?

    Probably not.

  • What is the music?

  • Its produced by Massive Attack

  • Hopes its gonna be badass as it looks

  • Directorial Debut From Mr. Stuart Townsend, looks really good.

  • Channing Tatum is supposed be a black bloc member? He looks more like a frat boy in a halloween coustume.

  • Actually he's one of the riot cops undercover to go get supplies during the riots.

  • Supplies? What kind of supplies?

  • Fived, faved and shared :-)

  • lol there's only 4 seconds of Chan in this trailer! Does he have a big part in this movie? I hope so since they've mentioned his name for the "main" characters thingy.

  • that is cool!

  • woooo! go chan!
