Too bad all of the 3 major candidates suck bad and equally in different ways. Even the front runner in the Libertarian Party, Bob Barr, has serious flaws in his platform. What the hell is going on in America (AmeriKKKa?)???

I think this is, potentially, a very good idea. I tend to think of artists at their best as early warning systems highlighting societal ills, so I absolutely think they have a role to play in out political dialogue. I recently had the good fortune to see Laurie Anderson's new piece, Homecoming, and it reminded me of how potent artistic critique of the socio-political can be.
