I think that it is becoming more acceptable now for women to date other women. Maybe that is why she was so bold and persistant. This has happened to me and I think that it is happening to more and more women.

I have been approached several times....I don't think it is anything that I am doing...People say gay knows gay...I don't agree with that....Because I am not gay and I get approached so many times....I am always polite & I compliment women if they look good...Period, nothing behind it just compliments.... lol, i am heated on dis. this happen to me all the time, when i was in miami southbeach it was very often. i dont think u were sending the wrong signal, its great to be friendly n there is a line between being overly friendly n i dont think u did anything wrong. sometimes when u are nervous n not thinking u say wrong stuff but if someone say no its no.
