My brothers, we go now to our own nation, with our own laws. We have tried to reason with our oppressors, but they refuse to listen to reason. We will now kill them all, watch their corpses bleed with our revenge! We have triumphed, we have already won! The tyrants may have great generals but even they cannot face men who have nothing to lose, and everything to gain! To arms, men! This day we fight, this day we reach onward! Warriors, CHARGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I imagine this going with George Washington's army marching through the still mostly untouched America. At 1:05 It's like they happened to come across the great lakes or a major River. Untouched by man, still pure, still full of hope.
@Fredfredbug4 Too bad Colonel George Washington was a complete failure in his early years, attacking the French when they aren't at war, and leading his men to die at a small wooden outpost, a better picture would be of him crossing the Delaware with no shirt ripped pecs its snowing out and George Washington is leaning out of his boat and punching a katana wielding black bear in the face then proceeding to Trenton where George Washington massacres the Nazi soldiers inside
This song makes me think of a group of soliers from any era, standing in a smoking ruin of the battlefeild, raising their flag in victory as the camra pans upward to see the rising sun above them in all its increidble glory. Just awsome
Listening to this song, I don't think about Sparta or some glorious ancient battle. I think about the freedom of the skies. In my mind there are WWll era planes flying above the clouds on their way back from bombing Germany... That's just what I hear. ^^'
@rootbeerpants im sorry, did i say i didnt enjoy them all? its human nature to choose favorites. everyone does it and immediate is just as magical. i dont want to debate with you about it id just appreciate it if you wouldnt put words in my mouth.

there is like a hint of lord of the rings from 1:05 to 1:14 and pirates of the Caribbean from the beginning to twenty seconds in, and it all kind of reminds me of the end of an epic movie about the american revolution or something.
For some reason this reminds me of the end of the second world war in Europe. Can you just imagine the relief everyone must have felt?
For the end of the second world war in the Pacific you need something more heroically mournful. It was a far more vicious war, I think. ( I may be wrong. )
@Lagoran Nowhere in my post do I mention the atomic weapons used on Japan. In fact, I hadn't taken them into account when making my post. They were atrocities. My post was about the relief of the people and the troops who finally had a chance to rebuild the pieces of their lives. I recognise that a lot of people were still suffering but that's not my point. I'm not American, but I'd be proud to be one. Your comment was extremely prejudice.
@LoneRising I agree man, and good to hear there's still some people out there from the good ol' UK who think Americans aren't all "BLA WAR AND HAMBEFRGERS" I'm sick of it, it's pretty annoying. This is odd, an American, myself, and a Britain, you, are arguing and fighting with Lagoran, a German...I wonder how that will end. Lol.
Heroism is over rated. The nuclear attack ended the war, and that alone justified it's usage. Better to burn a million lives into ash in an instant than have a hundred million suffer from prolonged warfare.
I don't give a crap about honor or glory in battle. There's nothing honorable or glorious in death, just an endless void.
I think that any horrors in the Pacific pale in comparison to the holocaust here in Europe. They didn't systematically kill their own people in Japan.
Best song of Imm... wait, I say that by almost every song... But guys, I swear, this one is the BEST!! Really! I don't know how to discribe this song. Is there a word for: AWESOME x 100 + BEAUTIFUL x 100 + EPIC x 100, and then a little bit more awesome and epic and beautiful then that...
The woman looked proudly at the small army of heroes that had united. Dark forces had them trapped, outnumbered, and outmatched. There was a great understanding that many more lives would be taken, but their leader was a bold one. She calmly stood, and uttered her last words to her dear friends, "Tonight, we fight for the freedom of us all. We all know the cost is great, and we are going to have the crap beaten out of us, but, heck, we tried."
The end of the book, The Singing, by Allison Croggon, is the perfect thing to read when listening to all these Immediate Tracks :D It makes my day. This one is definitely for the epilogue.
@cyberpragya Only parts of that book. The end maybe but like when she's on her horse and nearly rides into a tree because she's seeing a different time she needs epic fail music XD
Bem. não se em que língue esta múzica está sendo cantada mas uma coisa sei. E esplêndido este coral. algo simplesmente maravilhoso!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"That's thousands of miles, Caesar!" Caesar turned coldly to his speaker, a wide, deathly grin on his face, his cold colored eyes reflecting the deepest of the sun's colors.
"We'll make it to freedom if we need it." The speaker rolled his eyes and looked back at the land they were leaving, and he looked North. Which ones he wanted most, he couldn't decide, but he reluctantly stepped beside Caesar and he said quietly,
"Let's go to this place, Caesar." "Our whole army." "and we WILL Conquer..."
@Spockkid He's just supplying an inspired narrative to supplement the emotional music, providing an imagined and fantastical backdrop for himself and other listeners to further immerse themselves in the feeling the music exudes and the landscape it creates. Yea it's a bit dorky but so what? :-p

Usually these musics are sung in latin, and few people know this language nowadays, plus its not very easy to understand what they say by itself but I think the title is self explanatory about what it means :)
I went to the effort to literally translate the lyrics to one of their songs. Didn't make an ounce of sense. Completely grammatically faulty. Didn't even seem like they tried.
Well, I guess thats one of the reasons why they made it in a dead language. But I think this kind of musics ain't just for the lyrics, its for the music it self and our imagination. Plus TrailerHead produces most of their musics for films. Still, with or without sense, I like it the same :)
Not to troll, but Latin is far from a dead language. It's in language all around us, and in culture. Latin has had a huge impact on society.
I understand what you're saying though. Lol. No one speaks it. ALTHOUGH, I believe French is the closest language to Latin. Many of the words are the same, just pronounced a little bit differently, and written a bit differently.
really? that's not that surprising, seeing as most of these are used as stock music for hollywood trailers where you only hear thirty seconds of each piece, but still, most of the composers are highly spoken of...
where did you get the lyrics? i'll be honest, if going by ear, i'd be more likely to trust their songwriting right off the bat, but hey, props for the effort. keep in mind, you can't always translate literally, you need to understand the context in which each word is spoken.
This song make me imagine a great city, with beatifull churchs, castles, fields, and a population right in the palace courtyard.. meeting the heros that just came from the battle, and in the end the general that is the prince, raises his sword and everyone applauds.

If you really want to understand the power that music has, I suggest the following;
1. Find a couple of your favorite epic pieces, like this or maybe others like it.
2. Find your favorite rock song, and your favorite pop song, you can add another of your choosing if you want.
3. Add something really random like the "hamster dance" song or some other really out there or catchy song.
4. Find an action scene of your choice, and mute the sound. Substitute the music above, and see what happens.
