  • the first one sounds like Shakira :D x

  • Regarding the claim of overacting, you also have to consider that if you are in the audience you would not see this much facial expression. The actors on stage, espeically in musical theatre, have to go to the extreme so everyone in the audience can sense the emotion of the song they are singing. I just saw the Broadway touring company's performance tonight in Indianapolis. It blew me away, again, but this posted video is a fine performance.

  • VIBRATO!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can shake the damn Earth with that vibrato!!!!!!! It was gud, though I can't hate. But, that vibrato. I'm still shaking. lolz

  • There was a lot of vibrato, which isn't bad! But different. I enjoyed it, they are very talented. Making latinos look good lol.

  • The random ballerina took away form the intimacy of the number.

  • @bapdc

    a bit harry

  • The "different" one is way too pretty. Acting could use a little work. but overall pretty good. gorgeous voices. blend is a little off.

  • i dont realy like their hand movements but over all it is good

  • yeah i agree they arent connected to what thyre singing at all

  • I feel that they're rushing a little bit... But that could be because they were playing the song fast to begin with.

I really can't stand their vibratos; they're too conflicting. But I thought the song had good qualities as well. They had rich voices and it seems to be an awfully big deal for a community show.

  • I don't particularly like the girl playing Bebe. But its still a very good version.

  • Yeah, I hated the ballerina too. It's supposed to be the entire line doing barre exercises and practicing like they did in ballet class. Having each dancer doing their own moves shows that each of them trained for years independent of each other and came together at this audition all hoping to get a spot. This production did not showcase this song at all and I think that choosing to have this random ballerina detracted from the show.

  • 5:04

    WTF random ballerina?

  • 2weeks, Fuck youuuuuuuu....we know how to do great musical too. Fuuuuuuuck Youuuuu

  • wow that was good; but it was hard to hear the harmonies becuase there was so much vibrato; they were great individually but they need to learn to work together.

other than that it was one of the best ones i have seen.

  • hello, people, is from pr, they do there best, hehh but still, i love her,,, DANIELA DROZ IS A GREAT ACTRESS, SINGER, TV HOST, RADIO HOST AND... WHAT ELSE? HEHEH APOYANDO TALENTO BORICUA!

  • the women have beautiful voices and they did an excellent job in this production! brava!

  • ummm first of all this musical did not take place in a m community theater.. and yess it isn't broadway but it was one of the top shows that was put on here... just because we are puertorriquena doesn't mean we overact soo get ur facts straight MR. i was in this show.. and these people did work very hard... and i am proud of what we did.. the majority of the cast were acters and not dancers or singers soo they did a pretty damn good job!!

  • i feel like you could have used more vibrato.....

  • Girl 2 is sporting some MAJOR camel-toe!

  • Fabulous, I actually teared up.Great direction, fantastic orchestra & wonderful actors&singing.Best I've seen on line yet.Was this a prof. prod., &if not, kudos anyway. Camera/editing damned good too. Thank you, it made my day. Best of luck to everyone in the company,

Mark Hellesto, Stage & TV director

  • She is overacting. Please don't tell me that she actually played Sheila on Broadway.

  • she didnt

  • I love this song....

  • 5 STARS TO DANIELA DROZ!

  • I dont think that all 3 of their voices compliment each other very well and the harmonies sound a little bit out

  • I think the melancolic undertone doesnt really get through in this adaption. Actually, I think these percussions dont really fit.

Nothing can take the original anyway. Still, one should respect everybody's point of view and their artistic perception of a piece.

  • I agree, sometimes they actually sound and look happy when singing...which is definitely contrary to the intent of the song. Maybe they show melancholy differently in Puerto Rico?

  • good job!!, when we see something from nocturnopr then and only then he/she can step up!!!!!!!

  • I'm sorry but I have to say if my Musical Theater teachers saw this they would've died instantly. The approach is not good, and those arms not doing anything but fly everytime she had nothing to do with them, too much cliche for me, sorry PR, I love my country but they have to step up their game when it comes to Musicals

  • First of all, I am the one whose sorry to tell you that "musical theater" does not have to be capitalized. Besides if you do not like it tough. What have you done?? Don not pretend or dare to be sorry for us, we are extremely proud of what gets done in PR, since you have problems, then do not dare to criticize unless you have something to show for it. Before you tell someone to step up to the game, ask yourself, did you?????

  • You are absolutley right !!! I am from PR and I also study acting and I am also an avid Broadway fan. I applaud you .

  • A Chorus line.... GREAT DANCeRs..Singing.. Thats another story... Dancers dont usually make the best singers.. They are adequate though.

  • i disagree. PLENTY of dancers are amazing singers

  • Beautiful. I loved it.

  • jessenia droz mi amiga hace mucho no se de ti. soy j, andino. me encanto todo el espectaculo viva Puerto Rico.

  • Am I missing something? Shouldn't a Puerto Rican version be in Spanish???

  • No, the whole show would have to be rewritten by the original pw. It has subtitles in spanish.

  • Bravo, bravo, bravisimo.
