oNE OF THE BEST RACING GAMES, although I had it in japanese, I was like 8 years old when I played it, loved it and loved the music too, strange, an 8 year old liking this kind of music? and I'm not a fan of cars, or anything, but this game kinda got me into it, same goes for NFS3, but only because of plice chases loved the game!

Thx alot for the link above. Downloading the zip folder now. Got the Soundtrack for RR1, RRR and Rage Racer cause you could simply copy them from the game disk. For RR4 you couldnt do that. All i need to find now is the Soundtracks for Gran Turismo and Gran Turismo 2. Got an idea where they could possibly be? Thx again for the link.

OMG OMG OMG OMG! RR Type 4 is STILL ( IMO ) the BEST Ridge Racer EVER, both in soundtrack AND in gameplay.

Sure customizing your car was VERY low key ( a decal and color change ) yet the single player mode gave depth due to the fact that your car would ONLY get better if you as a racer did as well...It was an interesting take on placing in races as the next car you got would change based off of it!

Still..My fav. song of ALL time is in this game.."Move Me"...Thanks for the upload!

but I really like the customization function. I love the fact I can have a personal logo on my "own" car.

the only bad part is when you are too good and have to purposely lose! lol. It's just soooo hard to hold back for me! but must get all 400 cars!

Well when compared to say GT1 or 2 modding your ca was ULTRA low key ( only looks ) then again this was one of the FEW that allowed to make your own art for it!

Ya...trying to get all 400 cars was like BLARG! Didn't help that the pocketstation was so freaking hard to find in the US...Or the lack of it anyway...
