Irena Sendler a true interfaith angel of peace RIP. No suprise she didnt get a Nobel,prizes created by a arms manfacturer who invented dynamite.After seeing his obituary by a journalist who mistakenly thought him dead Nobel left his fortune for the prize.

A better legacy would have been for him to turn his companies into cooperatives for peace. Cooperatives empower the UN constitution, but like magna carta the UN constution needs clarifying for democracy to stop manipulative tyrants& oligarchs.

Moving. I recommend a french film similar to Sendler's story - La Colline aux Mille Enfants / The Hill of the Thousand Children. It's based on a true story, also very moving.

And there were also many more like her, but their stories are so amazing because it was too far and few in between.. Don't forget about the thousands of Jews who survived the Holocaust and returned to their homes just to be killed by occupants who didn't want to give it back.. There were many heros, but it's not wise to forget the collective history..

She was a truly amazing Woman! In my eyes, she was a great, if not the greatest heros that the World has seen...I don't want to take away any significance from

other people who saved others in desperate circumstances...however, the numbers speak for themselves...She remained a humble woman till the day she departed this Earth journey. Huge respects have to be paid to those students of rural Kansas, who re-discovered Irena's story!! I would like to meet them someday.
