It's so weird watching this video. I was a 1371 and I was at MCES exactly ten years ago. I thought joining the corps was a mistake until I went to MCES. Then I loved it. I miss those days. SSgt. Hardy was our class leader. That guy was awsome. Does anyone know if they still do the "FX" at the end?

It was in Fallujah when the Marines Corps had to retake the city after they had already moved out and handed it over to the Army. Subsequently thereafter the Army got their asses kicked by the insurgency. Then female Marines did what Army infantry couldn't. They shot accurately. Ah, the shot-sock of the military; poor Army.

i was there in 1998 just like the rest of the corps hasnt changed a bit. and engineers do alot more then find mines and blow shit up. all levels of construction,demolitions, and building bunkers and obsticles. we are the jack of all trades marines oorah

Good video. I was there in '90, MCES< EEIC. MOS1341. Went to 29PAlms then off to Saudi. I remember going on PT out in the woods. I wonder how many of those trails are left. We used to play,"king of the hill" on the piles made by nthe guys in yhe operators class. Be safe and SEMPER FI!

I kinda miss Courthouse Bay. It sucks balls because you aren't allowed to have your own car (not sure about now but that's how it was in '99) and it's a long ass bus ride to mainside, or an expensive ass cab ride, but still fun. Especially the demo range. IronSoldier02 let me say this
