I used to watch Wings as a kid (Heck, I still have a couple of the old VHS's) and loved it. This is just like watching wings again, except I've grown up, and the music has gotten better!

At 1:30...that F4 making a low pass on takeoff is sweet. Three of my favorite noises in the world...an F4 screaming past, an F104 with its afterburner lit up and hauling a$s and MAIDEN!

thats based alot around the eurofighter. There so awsome. I was at RAF cranwell for a week and i watching them do a quick touch and go display routine. They pull verticle climbs so fast. They sound so lush too. Good video gratz.

aye definately, I saw the display at RAF Leuchars airshow last year, and was sitting in the cockpit of the aircraft the year before. Unfortunately it didnt fly that year cant remember the reason though. It's apparently ver bitchy and refuses to fly if the slightest thing is wrong with it, but a fantastic aircaft none the less

@lefty1471 From what i hear the Typhoon eurofighter is designed so outa control that it needs a computer to help the pilot fly it. As a pilot i think that sounds like something i would not want any part of. What happens if your computer fails? Or gets damaged in combat? You would be screwed unable to control such a aircraft that is built so unstable as a way to make it more nimble.

Sorry to say but the typhoon project was obsolete the day it rolled off the assembly line.

@BrushlessNitroSlayer I think you'll find that most modern fighter aircraft are impossible to fly without their computer systems. It's not like it's one computer either, there are multiple backups. Complete failure is a very, very unlikely event and not something I'd be overly concerned about. Even fly-by-wire airliners rely on their computer systems.

@BrushlessNitroSlayer I assume you are a private pilot to display such lack of knowledge about FBW controls. They are just as reliable as directly linked controls with loads of redundancy in the electrical systems.

Also, they incorporate envelope protection; for instance, the Airbus 320 can bank 67 degrees which in straight and level flight equals 2.5 Gs, which is the certified limit for Airline Transport category aricraft.

Having said all that I still strongly prefer flying with the Yoke:-)
