@rollin20smakinmoneys I'd get Force Unleashed 2. I've beaten it on DS and WII, and I've played the Xbox 360 demo many times. It's a personal favorite of mine, and I very much disagree with this review in many respects. It definitely could have been better, but I love it.

In my opinion this game wasn't bad. I liked the story but I wished they had added more. I agree, the story was way to short. But the game was still cool and fun to play.
For me, the big let down was the lack of adequate boss fights. In the first game you almost always fought another jedi, leading to epic duels where you felt that countering and whatnot was important. All the bossfights in the second are just killing some giant monster or droid that is completely meaningless to the story, and these fights consist mainly of: dash right, dash left, forcelightning until you win.
i loved this game but it was way to short and the story didnt really become as epic as it was in the first thought, but many things this reviewer puts down i liked, i liked the fact that you could just demolish everyone in your way, even though they could have had some slower level progression, and i loved the visuals, but i wished it was longer, i finished this game the same day i got it.

To everyone ranting, here's the truth of this game. It's bad. I had high hopes for this; but it delivered in no way at all. People say how all games are repetitive don't know this one obviously. You spend the entire game running around to different rooms and kill a bunch of storm troopers, guys who can deflect your force, and big ass carbonite robots which are sadly and extremely underwhelming. That's this game's bread and butter. It doesn't even have the epic boss fights of it's predecessor.
Another thing I wanna add for those of you who keep saying that repetitiveness in video games is a bad thing, think about this: In GTA 4, do you just commit a few crimes and do nothing else. In any Zelda game, do you just go to one temple? Fight one boss? In Uncharted, do you get involved in just one shootout? Solve a puzzle only once? The answer is "NO". Every video game is repetitive in their own way. I can't even name one game I know that isn't repetitive.
@AllBoutFlicks Yeah the difference in the repetitiveness in those games is that its not always the same, yeah you still do the same thing but it has new enemies different ways of doing it the A.I. is actually challenging and the missions are new and refreshing. SWTFII has none of that, it lacks the awesome boss battles the first one has, it lacks ANY new types of enemies, its easy, and its pretty much just hack n slash and force power your way to the checkpoint.
I hate how the game got a 6.5 for being to short. Everything I've heard from friends and this video make it sound amazing (except for story lenght). I am not a hardcore player that plays for hours so that wont be much of a problem. I love the first game but havent played this one. Looking forward to buying it this weekend.

I just finished playing this game, and I had good expectations for it. The first one was a refreshing return to Star Wars games for me, and an enjoyable experience overall. This second game, however, was a bit of a disapointment. I usually disagree with IGN reviews, but this time I have to agree with their veredict.

ign is right, this game poses you no challenge... you're powerful from the start and there is always one easy way to kill each enemy, so each wave just seems like a grind to slow down your progression... killing storm troopers are about as thrilling as washing dishes
tome this game really did a trade off with the first one.
Such as the first one had a great stroy but broken gameplay.The second had great gameplay except for the same enemies over and over again but lost its story making it a lack luster game. So with one having story and the other having gameplay TFU 3 should be bad ass.
I played through it and it was a tad short, but overall this game was tits and i loved it. Dual sabers and cinematics are awsome.

To everyone ranting, here's the truth of this game. It's bad. I had high hopes for this; but it delivered in no way at all. People say how all games are repetitive don't know this one obviously. You spend the entire game running around to different rooms and kill a bunch of storm troopers, guys who can deflect your force, and big ass carbonite robots which are sadly and extremely underwhelming. That's this game's bread and butter. It doesn't even have the epic boss fights of it's predecessor.

Another thing I wanna add for those of you who keep saying that repetitiveness in video games is a bad thing, think about this: In GTA 4, do you just commit a few crimes and do nothing else. In any Zelda game, do you just go to one temple? Fight one boss? In Uncharted, do you get involved in just one shootout? Solve a puzzle only once? The answer is "NO". Every video game is repetitive in their own way. I can't even name one game I know that isn't repetitive.

@AllBoutFlicks Yeah the difference in the repetitiveness in those games is that its not always the same, yeah you still do the same thing but it has new enemies different ways of doing it the A.I. is actually challenging and the missions are new and refreshing. SWTFII has none of that, it lacks the awesome boss battles the first one has, it lacks ANY new types of enemies, its easy, and its pretty much just hack n slash and force power your way to the checkpoint.

I hate how the game got a 6.5 for being to short. Everything I've heard from friends and this video make it sound amazing (except for story lenght). I am not a hardcore player that plays for hours so that wont be much of a problem. I love the first game but havent played this one. Looking forward to buying it this weekend.

Im starting to think that the reviewers at IGN arent even real gamers honestly, It seems like every game they review is either terrible and repetitive or amazingly good, but they never seem to say anything good about a game and only focus on the bad, But when a new call of duty comes out or something its perfect yet thats the most repetitive Genre in video games today...

OH god.. IGN does it again you just called a game repetitive and boring because your pretty much a killing machine. ill agree the story was a bit short and the first was alittle better since tfu2 had a slight lack of communication with other characters Ex. you only really communicated with vadar and koda. However this games visuals are great, gameplay is fun, and the story is good, also has replay value since i just beat it and am already working on my 2nd attempt Not to mention Challenge mode.

I know some people might not like it but I got TFU 2 for Wii and actually liked it, hacking your enemies to shit and kicking Darth Vader's ass in the end was completely satisfying for me... All in all I liked the gameplay, the story, the battles, and almost everything except the repetitive story and the glitches.. In my book a straight 8

I just finished playing this game, and I had good expectations for it. The first one was a refreshing return to Star Wars games for me, and an enjoyable experience overall. This second game, however, was a bit of a disapointment. I usually disagree with IGN reviews, but this time I have to agree with their veredict.

ign is right, this game poses you no challenge... you're powerful from the start and there is always one easy way to kill each enemy, so each wave just seems like a grind to slow down your progression... killing storm troopers are about as thrilling as washing dishes

tome this game really did a trade off with the first one.
Such as the first one had a great stroy but broken gameplay.The second had great gameplay except for the same enemies over and over again but lost its story making it a lack luster game. So with one having story and the other having gameplay TFU 3 should be bad ass.
